About Phnom Penh
Phnom Penh capital is the most populated city in Cambodia. It is where the country’s major activities are held. The city is also the fastest growing in the economic and hospitality sector in the Southeast Asia Region. Dubbed as the “Pearl of Southeast Asia,” Phnom Penh was once considered as one of the most beautiful cities of Indochina. It is also nicknamed as “Paris of the East” because the city’s urban design is inspired by colonial French architecture, which includes Art Deco works. At the present time, the French colonial structure is being steadily replaced with stylish modern apartments and sky rise buildings, making it extremely appealing for real estate and foreign investors.
Phnom Penh comprises 12 administrative districts called Khans, spread out across 678.46 square kilometers land in Cambodia, and is composed of approximately 2 million people. According to the Ministry of Tourism, Phnom Penh has seen a 12% increase in the number of travelers in the last year; a rise in the number of visitors to more than 3 million people. Due to the boom in tourism and economy, there is a significant growth in the residential and commercial real estate in Phnom Penh.
